These 90-minute weekly (dyslexia-friendly) study support sessions are open to any University student who wants to improve their study skills within a relaxed and supportive environment.
The sessions start with an introduction to the other sessions. Further sessions explore skills for organisation and time management; learning technology; interactive reading and research; effective academic writing; preparing and giving presentations; revising and taking exams. Sessions run over ten weeks every semester and concentrate on how to maximise strengths and build up weaker areas.
Do I need to book in advance?
Ideally, we would like you to book the classes you want to attend. However, you are also welcome to join us on the day. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or book in person in the Learning Gateway, Wellbeing Centre.
