These short briefings are held for new internal examiners of research degree students and for new staff who have not examined at Plymouth before and are held according to QAA and Plymouth University quality standards.  

Following the session the Internal Examiner is approved by the Graduate Committee to serve as a full member of an examination team for Research Masters, MPhil, PhD and Professional Doctorates.

Sessions are held from 14:00 to 16:00 on the following dates: 18 December 2015, 25 January 2016, 23 February 2016, 19 April 2016, 27 May 2016.

The venue will be confirmed on booking. Additional dates will be confirmed in due course.

About the Research Support Programme

The Research Support Programme is facilitated by the Research Support and Development team and is specifically designed to support research staff at varying stages of their career and projects. All sessions are available free of charge for research staff, early career academics and staff supporting researchers.
