The University encourages staff members to have a
good understanding of the IT systems and services available to them. This is particularly important if you're new to the University, although with rapid changes to technology, all staff can benefit from an occasional refresher to update existing skills.
Who is this course for?
All new staff who use computers and digital technology as part of their work. This course is highly recommended as a refresher for existing staff who want to keep their skills up to date.
Prior knowledge of computers is not essential to benefit from this course.
What will I learn?
You will learn how to access your computer and locate relevant software, manage your data files and navigate round the portal. You will become familiar with links to other services you may require during your employment in the University.
