Lecture: MIDEL Transformer Fluids - Safety and Performance for Electrical Systems
Save event

MIDEL fluids are a high performance ester-based transformer fluid manufactured in the UK and has been specified in electrical system design since the 1970s.

Predominantly known for its 100% fire safety record, it also delivers benefits in reducing environmental impact and is found in the largest wind-turbine in the world and in  sub-sea power grids.

Steve will explain why it makes sense to use MIDELs instead of conventional transformer oils.

Refreshments will be available before the start of the lecture from 6.30pm in Room 002, Babbage Building.

Location: Lecture Theatre 5, Babbage Building, Plymouth University.

All welcome.
