Lecture: The rise of the unmanned maritime vessel - sensors show the way
Save event

This presentation details the development of two innovative marine products and how the SMEs who designed them have worked together to provide a unique solution.

J+S Ltd and MOST (Autonomous Vessels) Ltd will present their respective products, NarcineArray™ and AutoNaut®.  NarcineArray™ is a next generation, small-scale towed array for passive acoustic monitoring, while AutoNaut® is a wave powered unmanned surface vehicle designed for long endurance monitoring of the seas.

The presentation will detail how the two products have been developed and merged together to bring a solution to a new emerging market – the rise of this silent unmanned maritime vessel combined with acoustic sensors.

Speakers: Alex Key and Chris Tucker, J+S Ltd.

Start time: 7pm (venue: Lecture Theatre 5, Babbage Building).

Refreshments will be available before the start of the lecture from 6.30pm in Room 002, Babbage Building.
