PEMC Industrial Solutions - clean energy
  • Sustainability Hub, Kirkby Lodge, University of Plymouth

Save event

Clean energy, low carbon, net zero – new product development in this sector is growing exponentially, and for this growth to be sustainable, developers need to understand how products (and the materials used) perform in a variety of harsh environments; both now and in the future.

That’s where Electron Microscopy comes in. Find out how our industrial partners and academic collaborators have got the competitive edge by using microscopy at the nano-scale in new product development and problem solving! Hosted in the University’s new Sustainability Hub, join us to keep up to date with the latest programme and speakers by following us on Linked In (https://www.linkedin.com/in/clairepearce1/ and https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8304556/).

Supported by Innovate UK, UKRI, ZEISS (and funded by ERDF), PEMC is hosting a series of free events that will focus specifically on sectors identified within the UK government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, and priority areas for the Heart of the South West Local Enterprise Partnership (HOTSW LEP).

Companies are warmly invited to join us for one or more of these events on the main University campus, to not only discover what Electron Microscopy could do for your company but to also find out about the latest UK funding opportunities for industry; particularly SMEs.
