Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre: Industrial Solutions Event
Save event

The Plymouth Electron Microscopy Centre (PEMC) are pleased to announce the next free Industrial Solutions Event (funded by ERDF), aimed particularly at food manufacturers (cheese, bread, pastry, ice cream, processed meat to name but a few).

We have speakers from the food industry talking about how they have used electron microscopy to benefit their business and also how they have successfully applied for grant funding through GAIN to develop their company's capacity.

As well as a tour of the PEMC, there will also be the opportunity to look around the University's food development lab with Dr Victor Kuri, a leading food scientist, to gain an insight into the sort of product development work he has carried out with companies over the last few years, including Rodda's Cream and Kerry Ingredients (UK) Ltd.

Lastly, do take the opportunity to bring along one of your products on the day and we’ll analyse it for you, for free, if you’re a small-medium sized company based in Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire.

Register your attendance by completing the booking form or contacting the Events Team (email: / tel: 01752 586005).

Location: Plymouth University.

Contact Claire Pearce to discuss what PEMC can do for your company (email: / tel: 01752 588908).
