  • Diagnosis and evidence-based treatment of common diseases of the Ears, Nose and Throat in primary care
  • Identification of patients that require urgent referral to the hospital

Day 1 (Monday 28 October, 9:00am -16:30pm)

  • Care Pathways in Rhinology
  • “Doctor, my ear is running”
  • Funny turns and falls
  • Red flags in Otology

Day 2 (Tuesday 29 October, 8:30am – 17:00pm)

Clinical skills stations
  • Otoscopy on models
  • Slide presentations of ear pathology
  • Examining Patients
  • Rhinoscopy
  • Slide presentations of nose pathology
  • Examining patients
Afternoon sessions
  • The Hallpike test
  • The Epley manoeuvre
  • Skin prick tests
  • Nasal medications
  • Tracheostomy tubes and speaking valves

This is a two-day event, however, tickets are available to buy for a single day of the course only.
