The next meeting of the Realist Group will be held on Wednesday 4 September at the Plymouth Science Park.
At this group meeting we plan to discuss two realist papers below.
- Dementia-friendly interventions to improve the care of people living with dementia admitted to hospitals: a realist review
- Supporting general hospital staff to provide dementia sensitive care: a realist evaluation
Both papers are based on a dementia programme which was first informed by a review and then went on and conducted an evaluation. The review and evaluation papers can therefore be read side by side.
All are welcome to attend whatever your level of knowledge. Bring your experiences, confusions, examples, highlights and frustrations around realist methodology.
