Are you 15-25? Thinking about a career in the marine industries?

The National Marine Aquarium Plymouth is hosting this year's South West Marine Careers Conference. Students and teachers will have the opportunity to find out about the exciting and diverse range of marine careers from more than 30 businesses, colleges and universities across the South West.

The South West Marine Conference is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the marine sector against the incredible backdrop of the UK’s largest marine aquarium. 

The University of Plymouth will be providing expert speakers for the conference.

12:00 – Dr Jenny Gales: Exploring the deep

13:00 – Dr Andrew Manning: Cohesive sediment dynamics

14:00 – Dr Tim Poate and Dr Kit Stokes: Storms and coasts

16:00 – Dr Simon Ingram and Dr Clare Embling: A career in marine mammal conservation
