This free event is designed to inform you of the threat of cyber crime and highlight measures for mitigating the threat.

DS Alex Dawson leads Devon and Cornwall's Digital Crime Unit, the purpose of which is to investigate all types of digital crime and to educate people as to how they can protect themselves. The team also aim to learn from each report received and to highlight measures for mitigating the threat from cyber crime.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn first hand about the work they do, what cases they are seeing reported and some measures that can be considered to help protect your business and prevent you from becoming a victim to this threat.

DS Alex Dawson will give an overview of the capability within Devon and Cornwall, the region and national picture, as well as speaking about the types of crime the police are seeing and will give details of a number of websites that can help to keep us safe.

This talk is sponsored by NatWest as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. We hope you can join us; as spaces are limited, please register your place via the above link.
