Spend a morning reinforcing your knowledge of Spanish in an informal and relaxing environment.

This masterclass is taught by a qualified native speaker who is an associate lecturer at Plymouth University.

The Routes into Languages programme is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). The masterclass is a joint event with the Plymouth University's Widening Participation department.

The main objectives of this event are:

  • to enthuse Year 9/10 MFL students about studying languages leading to increased interest in selecting a language at GCSE level
  • to inform pupils of the many benefits of having a second language for their future education and career options
  • to strengthen relationships between the University and languages departments in local schools.
