Is renewable energy really worth it with all the challenges?

In covering the viability of renewable energy technology we will learn the importance of renewables, the challenges faced and potential benefits.

We will also learn how other European countries are employing such technology.

Speaker: Andrew Honey

Andrew has over 30 years in commerce and industry, giving him a unique set of experiences and achievements from the real world of engineering all the way to the highest echelon of global e-commerce. He is founder and Director of Anient Ltd, an independent provider of zero and low carbon consultancy in the UK.

As part of the inaugural UK Climate Leadership Programme, he is at the forefront of bringing both the challenges and opportunities associated with climate change to the attention of businesses and community leaders and is regularly invited to advise about sustainability and microgeneration at conferences and organisations across the UK. He also lectures at Plymouth University.
