On Saturday 28 February, Carol Robertson and Simon Tier will depart from Brain Tumour Research HQ in Padbury, Bucks on a 400 mile fundraising cycle challenge, calling in at each of BTR's four research Centres of Excellence, culminating at Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry.

Carol and Simon aim to raise £43,840 to fund four days of research at each Brain Tumour Research Centre of Excellence - Imperial College London, Queen Mary University of London, University of Portsmouth and Plymouth University.

The event will launch a month of activities through March, Brain Tumour Awareness month, ending on 27 March with Wear A Hat Day

Keen cyclists from the Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry, Dartmoor Zoo and local cycling club Yogi will join Carol and Simon on the last leg of their journey to the University's John Bull Building. The cyclists are due to arrive at the lab entrance around 4.30pm on Tuesday 3 March.
