Please join us for a thought provoking discussion addressing best training practices for starting up social enterprises.

We will be sharing our experiences of designing and implementing social enterprise training programmes, and welcome your constructive feedback, critical insights and reflections so we can identify a common set of best training practices to adopt and promote.

11:30–11:35 Welcome

11:35–12:00 A presentation followed by Q&A (Dr Haya Al-Dajani)

Dr Al-Dajani will talk about a methodological tool and other relevant toolkits ‘training the trainers’ she and other partners have designed and developed to support a mentor training programme as part of the Erasmus + Social Start Up Project.

12:00–12:25 A presentation followed by Q&A (Michelle Virgo)

Michelle Virgo will talk about ESSE, an Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership to develop education for social enterprise in five countries. Partnership outputs have included a train the trainer programme, a series of case studies and a peer to peer online learning platform.
