Students from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry are holding their annual health clinic for members of the public and University staff/students to attend and also to raise money for Children in Need.
You are invited to get your health checked by:
- Heart function (ECG)
- Lung capacity (spirometry)
- Blood pressure
- BMI and body fat measurements
alongside demonstrations of how to remediate choking and fun with teeth.
The session is provided by University Healthcare Science Practitioners in training, Nutrition, Exercise and Health students, and Medical and Dentistry trainees. The session is supervised by NHS professionals and appropriately qualified personnel and enable the public to get a health ‘MOT’.
A Pudsey raffle, tea/coffee, cake and bun sale will help raise funds for the BBC's Children in Need. We also have an accompanying coffee morning.
In advance of the day, you can make a donation at the School of Biomedical Sciences School Office in Room C407 in the Portland Square Building.
