Unlocking Potential's annual Graduate Success Celebration Event recognises the achievements of graduates, along with new and growing businesses in Cornwall.

It comes as the number of graduates Unlocking Potential has helped SMEs to employ over the last ten years tops 1,200. Since 2010, Unlocking Potential has also helped more than 150 individuals to start and run their own businesses in the county.

The annual event shines a light on inspirational examples of business growth and success brought about by the work of 150 graduate employees over the last 18 months. Twenty-six graduates have been shortlisted for awards as a result of their outstanding achievements and impact on their businesses as part of Unlocking Potential’s Graduate jobs service.

This year's nominations are across eight categories:

  • Contribution to Business Growth
  • Contribution to Business Improvement
  • Best Use of ICT
  • Excellence in Project Management
  • Individual Achievement
  • Stand Out from the Crowd Graduate of the Year
  • Gateway Graduate of the Year
  • Postgraduate Placement of the Year.
