The third annual Dietitians Week run by the British Dietetics Association takes place from 6-10 June. 

To mark this week, BDA South West England are holding a networking evening with guest speakers talking about the latest in all that is 'carbs and commissioning'.

  • Dr Pam Dyson PhD RD, Research Dietitian, Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism, Churchill Hospital, Oxford): 'Low Carbohydrate Diets and Type 2 Diabetes: An Update'
  • Professor Mary Hickson, Professor in Dietetics, Plymouth University: 'Developing a Clinical Academic Career in Dietetics'
  • Joanne Instone, Acting Head of External Affairs, BDA: 'The Elevator Pitch: How to Promote Yourself and Your Dietetic Services'

A buffet meal will be served after the talks and there is an opportunity to network with colleagues old and new.
