Wild About Plymouth: Seashore Safari
Save event

Wild About Plymouth is a partnership led by Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery organising family-friendly science and natural history events throughout the year and Plymouth University is one of the organisations involved.

We'll be looking for local sea life by exploring the rock pools. There'll be crabs, starfish, sea urchins and maybe a sea spider or sea slug to spot too!

We won’t just be looking at the wildlife, we’ll be protecting it too. We’ll bring some bin bags along so everyone can join in with a big beach clean.

Lots of rubbish unfortunately gets washed up on our beaches every day. This is your chance to have some fun and help the local marine environment at the same time.

Admission is free and there is no need to book. On-street parking and a series of small car parks are available all around the Mount Batten area.

Please meet five minutes before the start at the bottom of the beach steps.

Location: Batten Bay, Mount Batten, Plymouth PL9 9SJ.

This event is part of the Plymouth Ocean City Festival.
