Save event

Right on the doorstep of many Bristol schools is a great outdoor learning resource of two rivers and their streams.

Teachers will explore with experts the stream and bankside habitats of the River Frome in Snuff Mills Park, using low budget resources which they can easily produce and use on subsequent school visits.

The workshop will cover hands-on activities such as stream dipping and global games to examine the issues including ‘What a Waste’ and ‘Fascinating life cycles and food webs’ with creative activities to help bring the curriculum alive (for example, sculpture, poetry and performance).

Tutor: Earthworks.

Cost: £60 +VAT  (20% discount applies for Blue Mile and Natural Connections schools).

Location: Snuff Mills, River Frome, Bristol BS16 1DL.
