World Recycling Day 2019
  • Crosspoint, Roland Levinsky Building

Save event

Recycling is a huge part of our world these days and everyone has to do their part for us to get to where we want to be - a sustainable future! World Recycling Day is all about promoting awareness of the recycling world and its practices along with what can and can’t be recycled.

Every day we throw our rubbish away without much thought, but with a little extra thought each one of us can make a difference by recycling what we can.

The University of Plymouth is committed to increasing our total recycling rates along with decreasing the amount of waste that we produce to help fulfil our sustainable campus vision. World Recycling Day is a great opportunity for everyone to get involved and learn a little more about small changes they can make to help the world in the long run.

Date: Monday 18 March
TIme: 10.00-3.00
Venue: Crosspoint, Roland Levinsky Building
Come down to talk to us about recycling, ask any questions, find out about how the recycling process works and even be in with the chance of winning a £25 prize if you play our game!
