Mary Palmer is an experienced strategy, planning and project management professional within the health and social care sector. Her last position was as Assistant Director of Strategy and Performance with Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group where she took the lead in strategy and planning, performance and information, working to the Director of Primary Care Development. Prior to that Mary worked in health in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in a director level role, commissioning a full range of health and care services for the population of Richmond including community, mental health, learning disability and children and young people's services.
An alumnus of Plymouth University, Mary is a qualified coach and uses a coaching approach in her management roles to help team members to improve their performance and confidence. In the early 2000’s Mary was a non executive at Devon and Cornwall Probation, a post she held for six years.
Mary was appointed to the Board in January 2016.
