Making Media that Matters

 All our final year students negotiate and realise a creative collaboration beyond the course. Each student is able to tailor their project to their individual ambitions and most find the experience invaluable for their future career.
Through these collaborations, our students have made a real difference to many businesses, charities, community groups and individuals. 
Collaborators included: Dartmoor app, the University's Careers Service, the Light Society, Brighter Smiles, Beauty at no.8 salon and Moretonhampstead community, Awenek Studio, Devon Super Team, Combat Studio Martial Arts SKOF clothing, What Works for Children’s Social Care, Jamie Webb Photography, Dance Company, Action Prevent Suicide, Twisted tearoom, Plymouth Argyle Community, Action Prevent Suicide, Tom Rosenthal, Chloe’s Garments, Tom Ramli Davis, Residents of Wuhan, The Yoga Sanctuary, Lynher Barge and Maker Memories.

Long Lasting Community

An online exhibition by 2nd year creative media students
A group of students created pieces in response to the history of Plymouth's Central Park, and how it has changed throughout the years. Working collaboratively with Fotonow, Ocean Studios, Friends of Central Park Plymouth and members of the public they produced a range of multimedia artwork, from moving image to photographs and illustrations.
Each piece captured different aspects of the park’s past and present, representing historic memories of the people who have been, used and remember the changing landscape of Central Park.
