Living in private-sector accommodation

If University-managed accommodation is not for you, the city of Plymouth offers a huge range of accommodation for students. Whether you're looking for purpose built student accommodation, student houses, flats or even homestays, there's something out there to meet all budgets – both in the city centre or surrounding areas.
University-managed Halls offer single-person accommodation from September to July and are most popular with first year undergraduate students. Summer stays are also available. Plymouth is a popular student city, so it's never too soon to start looking and secure your preferred property.

The Student Accommodation Code

We adhere to the Student Accommodation Code which means that we go the extra mile to make sure that you get the best quality accommodation while you are with us. The Code is managed by an external group which inspects our halls to ensure that they are in tip-top condition.
