Miss Eleanor Burfitt

As Film Production Officer in the Film Production Unit, I work with clients to plan, film, edit and create engaging video content for promotional and educational purposes. 

Some of the many projects I have been involved in include:

• Filming graduation ceremonies and interviews
• Creating "Inspiring Student" stories
• Recording interviews to document and explain research projects to the wider public
• Filming field trips both nationally and internationally
• Creating recruitment materials for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Creating longer form content for Outreach Events - for example, Dr Tina Joshi's 'the Big Talk' for Futures 2022

As part of our remit, the film production team also offer workshops to teach filming techniques and video editing skills to staff or students. We also take part in media training workshops in partnership with the University Press team.

Qualifications

First Class Honours - BA (Hons) Media Arts from the University of Plymouth.
