Research interests

Dr Dai's main research activities lie in R&D of marine renewable energy devices, marine engines and propulsion systems, the application of artificial intelligence techniques to control of marine systems. Ongoing research is concerned with the development of vertical axis marine current turbines and oscillating water column wave energy converters
