Research interests
I am a member of the Spatial Behaviour Laboratory, we employ a variety of different research methods and techniques to explore the cognitive and neural processes that underpin our understanding of the world around us. A large proportion of my research is conducted in the large-scale virtual reality laboratory, where different aspects of spatial behaviour are explored within a fully immersive environment. As well as exploring the foundations of typical spatial skills, planned collaborations include exploring behaviour in atypical populations (e.g. atypical ageing; autism; hydrocephalus) and how difficulties might affect everyday experience.
