Research interests
My academic journey is deeply rooted in forest ecology, complemented by a profound interest in plant ecophysiology and its dynamic interaction with climate change. My current research trajectory involves the innovative use of field-based thermal infrared cameras for monitoring canopy temperatures in both temperate and tropical forests. I focus on how elevated carbon dioxide levels impact canopy temperature in temperate forests, contributing valuable insights to our understanding of climate change's effects on forest ecosystems.
Other research
I am also keen on understanding that tree photosynthetic heat tolerance is influenced by environmental change across different biomes.
