This spring the National Trust is celebrating the beauty of blossom at Cotehele with the Festival of Blossom from 26–29 April. A special programme of blossom themed events and activities will also take place across the entire Tamar Valley.
Come to Cotehele and relax with a blossom picnic, try your hand at lawn games, write a blossom inspired haiku, and enjoy a whole host of blossom themed events.
When you visit, become a citizen scientist and use the photography stations to track the progress of the blossom as it spreads from the cherry orchard to the old and mother orchards. Share your photos using #Cotehele and #Blossomwatch.

🌸 Sunday 28 April (10:00–16:00): Blossom Bioblitz 🌸

Visit Cotehele today and join a Blossom Bioblitz as you take a closer look at the mother orchard with experts from the University of Plymouth.
Staff and students from the School of Biological and Marine Sciences will be highlighting the importance of blossom to biodiversity and working with visitors to explore the different species that rely on it. See how much wildlife you can spot, uncover a hidden world of amazing orchard wildlife and help us build a picture of this amazing habitat.
