Calling University of Plymouth students! The University has linked with South West Coast Path Association to offer you the opportunity to explore the local coast path.
The South West Coast Path is England's longest way-marked long distance footpath and a National Trail. It stretches for 630 miles, running from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset.
There are multiple benefits of accessing this important National Trail for health and wellbeing, and promoting the use of the Coast Path for exercise and a chance to connect with the stunning local environment. There are many studies that support the wellbeing benefits, including the benefits for people’s mental health relating to exercise, spending time outdoor and connecting with nature.
Join our monthly walking group to discover the incredible beauty of the South West Coast Path around Plymouth. We'll uncover wildlife, heritage and great local beaches, all using public transport.
  • Meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month – pick-up point outside the SU at 11:30.
  • Free event – travel expenses and hot drink provided.
  • Plenty of fresh air away from the city.
  • A great chance to meet new people.
