"...having completed the degree at Plymouth has been very helpful towards my future career."

Why did you choose the University of Plymouth to do your degree course?
I chose the University of Plymouth to study BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Management because the Business School provides a lot of opportunities for students, both home and international, to explore our interests and broaden our horizons. I also think that having completed the degree at Plymouth has been very helpful towards my future career as it has allowed me to acquire experience and skills which were core components within my study.
How have you found your time here?
During my time studying at the University of Plymouth, I have been presented with a lot of chances to travel around England through University initiatives. I have been to places such as The Eden Project, Riverford Field Kitchen, and several hotels in Devon. What was also really exciting was that we didn't just stay in the UK, as we also went to Madrid and Amsterdam.
Also, whilst at Plymouth, I was a member of the University dance club (UPDC) and took part in joint exercise classes in Nancy Astor. Lastly, I also learnt Japanese in the Twilight Language Class. All in all, I really enjoyed every activity provided by the University of Plymouth, and the mixture of academic and extracurricular activities made for a great balance.
Would you encourage prospective students to study with us and why?
Yes, I would. The University of Plymouth offers many opportunities for students to gain experience, including field trips and operation visits, assistance on finding a placement job, as well as career investment. It makes our university life splendid and gives you every opportunity for a good career whilst having fun!
