Jake Evans spent a placement year at Pythagoras Communications Ltd. He returned to the final year with a job offer and new skills and experience.
"My placement was undertaken at Pythagoras Communications Ltd, a Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 specialist development company in Maidenhead, Berkshire. I saw this as an opportunity for me to hone my professional and technical skills in industry. My main responsibilities included the development of systems for clients, the wholesale design, development and testing of new products for the company, travelling to client sites and meeting with company leaders, assisting with problem solving on the company help desk and more!
From this experience I gained invaluable industry experience and developed programming, interpersonal and life skills which could not have been gained through education alone. Furthermore I gained contacts in the computing industry and was offered a job by the company at the end of my university degree."
