Our longstanding, reputable portfolio of research and innovation, ensures we are well-placed to address the UN Sustainable Development Goals and inform national and international policy.
- In partnership, led the creation of the UK’s first e-marine hub of shore-side charging facilities and pioneered the UK’s first sea-going electric ferry and e-vessel.
- Developed the first technological solutions for measuring blue carbon ecosystems, the UK’s first marine Natural Capital Asset Register.
- Contributed to the Global Maritime Trends 2025 report examining changes needed in the global maritime industry.
