In association with Discovery Weeks, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business is delighted to host a showcase and networking event on Monday 20 May, focused on student work developed in response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through the Common Challenge modules delivered across each of its schools.
Including an interactive exhibition of outcomes from common challenge projects, short presentations and panels, the event is designed to create space to consider the interconnected issues facing our world, bringing together like-minded individuals and championing creative collaborations.
The event is aimed at anyone with an interest in contributing to a more sustainable future as an informed, responsible and active citizen, both locally and globally. This includes students and academics across the University, and external organisations with a shared interest and who would like to connect with the University on this agenda.
The event will also launch the Sustainability badge being piloted by the faculty, with student contributors to the event being recognised for their contribution to sustainability awareness, systems thinking, openness, responsibility and change leadership in this space.
